Floating Halo

A black swan with a halo I snapped just across the park from where I live on the Gold Coast, Australia. The halo is caused by a ripple in the water distorting the swan’s reflection. How about that?

Strain – Pain – Drain

I snapped this athletic Black Swan out for an early morning jog on the Gold Coast. Don’t quote me, but I heard the swan is trying hard to keep fit in case Mayor Tom Tate and Gold Coast City councillors vote to drain the Broadwater and turn it into a car park – just like they drained Black Swan Lake. Say hooray for the swan. Queensland, Australia.
