High-rise reflections in the windscreen of a council bus I snapped when crossing the road yesterday in the city of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. Hey, ho.
Here was my wonderful Australia Day lunch; raw squid, coated with garlic infused olive oil with a few added squeezes of fresh lemon and salt and pepper. Love it. (And if you eat calamari please remember it is not the full squid). You beauty. Queensland, Australia.
Bum surfing with an added touch of froth and bubble at Burleigh Heads this morning. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie you beauty.
Yes, with a 600mm lens, I snapped these three kookaburras sitting in a not so old gum tree at the home of Steve Holland and Robyn Holland in Tallai yesterday. And it was Australia Day. How wonderful. Not to be laughed at. Queensland, Australia.
Sunrise snap of Broadbeach high-rise I shot this morning from the wonderful hills of Tallai in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Yah! Queensland, Australia.
A big frothy bastard of a wave I snapped on Australia Day at wonderful Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. Queensland, Australia.
Dare devils or silly bastards could be risking life and limb by leaping off the Tallebudera bridge on the Gold Coast. Boaties and coppers are concerned that children, or anyone for that matter, who take the leap for thrills could be injured. At the moment, jumpers are ignoring the police, but many have been removed from the activity. Gold Coast Australia.
A little bit of light and shade I snapped early morning on the Gold Coast Spit near the Sand Pumping Jetty. Ho, ho! Queensland, Australia.
Snapping black and white on the wonderful Gold Coast Broadwater early morning. GO the FULL SCREEN and pat the dog. Or is it Spot the dog? Queensland, Australia.
I strolled to the Southport Pier late afternoon to shoot a picture of the full moon. And what a bastard; as it popped up it was clouded over – faded and dull. I waited and waited, but I got bored, so headed home to feed my face. As I got to the end of the pier I looked back and there it was – a picture. Yep, Big Brother (security camera) was snapping pictures of the moon too. Gold Coast, Australia.
