Lucky for me I can see the sunrise most mornings on the fabulous Gold Coast. At times I even see a couple of birdies fly by. Queensland, Australia.
I had a chuckle today when I saw at least eight police sand-buggies and a larger number of police during a learn-to-drive practice session at the Gold Coast Spit. They were dodging markers, chucking wheelies, driving backward and forward and generally having a hell of a lot of fun. They were in training for the 2018 Commonwealth Games to be held on the fabulous Gold Coast. Queensland, Australia.
This young lady I snapped on the Gold Coast demonstrates an unique style of snapping pictures on the beach without turning to face the subject. Very clever indeed. I might give it a go. Hey, ho. Queensland, Australia.
Just for a bit of fun I pointed my 600mm lens at the early morning bright (but dullish) light on the Gold Coast and I scanned the horizon in the hope something may happen. I was pleased as punch when three pelicans swan past in formation. Hooray, for me. Queensland, Australia.
This really should be called Dapple Street. It’s wonderful how the sunlight slices through the leaves and branches of the trees. It’s a picture I snapped in Grafton New South Wales.
Take a look through the amazing wire supports on the Brooklyn Bridge and see the amazing Statue of Liberty. There she is! The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbour in New York City in the United States of America. Yes it is.
A little boat and a bloody big cruise boat – a picture I snapped early morning in Sydney Harbour in New South Wales. Yippee.
Busking in New York City – a hard way to make a living in the winter. But if you can make it in New York you can make it anywhere – well so they say.
I have never had any interest whatsoever in Valentines Day, but this graceful swan I photographed at Black Swan Lake sure does – or did. As Black Swan Lake is now being drained and filled, this swan is feeling totally unloved. So, those clowns who decided the pristine lake would be better off as a car park and a horse exercise yard, should go take a jump in the lake. Happy Valentines Day to all who believe in it. Hooray, love it and lap it up. Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
New York City does close down – and here’s the proof. At 8.20am one morning while on holidays these two popular Hot Dog vans were closed for business. Good grief, alert the press! Hold the front page!
