I’m still stuffing about with my new GoPro trying to get a decent picture. But here’s one that made the cut. The others were hopeless. When I know what to do I will be off and running. Gold Coast, Australia.
This morning on the Gold Coast I thought there could have been a pelican trainer further upstream who’d spotted me taking a snap of the sunrise, and sent the pelicans flying off in a frenzy to improve my picture. What a cracker. (There were four pelicans, but one of them blended in with the dark background). Queensland, Australia.
I was strolling along the Broadwater this morning looking for something to snap, when I spotted this White-faced Heron. Bloody hell, not another bloody heron, I said to myself. Then it looked at me, and off it went – so I knocked off one frame. I didn’t know at the time but the heron had a soldier crab in its beak. Hooray, for the heron, bad luck for the crab. (Gold Coast, Australia).
Apart from the bird flying over the Sydney Harbour Bridge I snapped at sunset, take a look at the five groups of people on the bridge who have paid big money to climb to the top. With prices starting at $200 per person, it’s not a cheap walk. However, there are deals that are a lot more expensive. New South Wales, Australia.
