And this is how it was on the Gold Coast this wonderful morning at about 6.15am. Hooray, give three hearty cheers for the fit bastard paddling his boat. Queensland, Australia.
Hooray, today is the first day of autumn in Australia. Hey, ho, cop the full blast of the sun over the waters of the Gold Coast in Queensland.
As the sun sinks slowly in the west, that’s not the the time I love the best. I love sunrise, that’s the best. Snapped this image on the fabulous Gold Coast. The magic colour in the sky was caused by nearby bush fires in the hills. Queensland, Australia.
Pesky gulls resting on a messy sailcloth sun cover late afternoon on the wonderful Gold Coast Broadwater. Queensland, Australia.
Snapped this pesky gull as it searched for food in the late afternoon light. Yep, you could almost count the feathers. Love backlight. Queensland, Australia.
At 5.15 in the morning I was on Main Beach snapping the sunrise with clouds that look like big bushy eyebrows. Maybe they need to be plucked. Queensland, Australia.
Yesterday afternoon from a balcony in Main Beach I snapped the last rays of sunshine seeping through a couple of high-rise on the Gold Coast. Queensland, Australia.
Oh, yes, the sun is hot in many different ways. At 5.15am this wonderful morning on the Gold Coast this is what I photographed with a 600mm lens. Queensland, Australia.
I NEARLY FORGOT I snapped this image a few days ago looking into the sun at Main Beach. But here it is now. Enjoy. I used a 600mm lens. GO the FULL SCREEN.
I was at Snapper Rocks early this morning (for the second day in a row). When I first spotted the pattens in the sand the sun was tucked comfortably behind the clouds. But, a few minutes later the sun shone through and BINGO – I had a pretty picture. Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
