I went across the park this morning and once again there it was, the sunrise, plus a pelican basking in the beam. I was on to that like a dog on a bone. It never ends. Woohoo!
Calamari is not the full squid, but octopus is the real deal. This picture shows what I love about Greece. The octopus drying in the sun are caught overnight in the Aegean Sea. In the morning the octopus are hung out to dry in the sun. At night it’s resting on your dinner plate drowned in rich mouth-watering sauce and other wonderful types of food.
I popped these pears I bought outside in the sun so they would ripen quicker. I looked at them later in the day and noticed the shadows so decided to snap a few pictures. Hooray. Gold Coast, Australia.
This vista put a spring in my step the other morning on the wonderful Gold Coast. It was bold, beautiful and in my face. Yippee. Queensland, Australia.
When the rain stopped on Stradbroke ‘Straddie’ Island the sun came out. For something to do, I legged it outside and snapped a few pictures of these pegs. Three minutes later it was raining again. Queensland, Pt Lookout, Australia.
And this is how it was on the Gold Coast this wonderful morning at about 6.15am. Hooray, give three hearty cheers for the fit bastard paddling his boat. Queensland, Australia.
Hooray, today is the first day of autumn in Australia. Hey, ho, cop the full blast of the sun over the waters of the Gold Coast in Queensland.
As the sun sinks slowly in the west, that’s not the the time I love the best. I love sunrise, that’s the best. Snapped this image on the fabulous Gold Coast. The magic colour in the sky was caused by nearby bush fires in the hills. Queensland, Australia.
Pesky gulls resting on a messy sailcloth sun cover late afternoon on the wonderful Gold Coast Broadwater. Queensland, Australia.
Snapped this pesky gull as it searched for food in the late afternoon light. Yep, you could almost count the feathers. Love backlight. Queensland, Australia.
