When the rain stopped on Stradbroke ‘Straddie’ Island the sun came out. For something to do, I legged it outside and snapped a few pictures of these pegs. Three minutes later it was raining again. Queensland, Pt Lookout, Australia.
Yep, you should have seen the fish the pelicans caught yesterday: Where there are people fishing, you will always find a few pelicans on standby ready to steal some fish – especially on wonderful Stradbroke ‘Straddie’ Island. Queensland, Australia.
This butcher bird is as wet as a shag – and even though it’s bucketing down with rain, its standing defiant waiting for a saucy morsel to come along. Snapped this little bastard from the back veranda from where I’m staying at Stradbroke (Straddie) Island. Pt Lookout, Queensland.
Even though is rained today on Stradbroke (Straddie) Island it was still looking good. The sun came out for 10 minutes or more, so I swung into action. Hey, ho. Point Lookout, Queensland. Australia.
This is another one of my favourite pictures I’ve snapped at wonderful Stradbroke Island, Queensland, Australia. When I go to Straddie I stay with Comrade David May, Liz Johnston, Angela May and the leader of the pack Millie The Wonder Dog. Millie is a lover of the beach. She adores balls and healthy food. She is a tree climber and enjoys barking at tourists. She dislikes chooks and goannas. There’s a lot going on in Millie’s life. Yah go Millie you beauty.
Snapped this pretty image late afternoon when I visited wonderful Point Lookout on Stradbroke Island in Queensland, Australia.
