I was chilling in a soft deckchair with a beer a camera and a book at Super Paradise Beach in Mykonos, Greece, when I heard an almighty roar. I discovered it was a jet about to land on an airstrip over the rocky outcrop. I knew where there was one there would have to another. So I laid in wait and this what I snapped. Strewth.
The other day I posted a happy snap of a jet heading over Burleigh Heads headland to Coolangatta Airport. I mentioned I had a fear of flying, but gradually overcoming that phobia. Here is another jet snapped on the same day 30 minutes later at sunrise. I’d like to have been flying in this one just to see the vista. Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Hey, Ho!
Once I had a huge fear of flying so bad I didn’t get on a plane for many a year. I have now (nearly) conquered that terrible phobia. However, yesterday, when I snapped this plane flying toward Burleigh Heads headland preparing to land at Coolangatta Airport, my heart thumped like a bastard. “Fucking hell” I said aloud to no one in particular. Queensland, Gold Coast, Australia.
