Dear Jack

This is dear Jack, my beautiful grandson I snapped a few weeks ago. His second birthday is in about two weeks. As Jackie is so much like me as a child I don’t mind saying I shed a tear when I enlarged this image. It struck me hard remembering that I was the same age when I was dumped in an abusive Anglican Church Children’s Home with my sister, Suzanne. I lived there for 14 years, my sister eight. Jack has the same hair, eye lashes, lips, sleepy eyes and roundish face as me at that age. It really dug deep into my heart. This beautiful boy is well cared for and loved by his mother, my dear daughter, Elouise and her husband, John. Hooray.
