Glacier Calving

I was on the bow of the National Geographic Explorer when I heard a bunch of delightful squeals behind me. I quickly spun towards the din and what I saw set my camera whirring, managing to snap this incredible glacier calving. Wow! This happens often in the Antarctic, but it’s a matter of being in the right place at the precise moment. You beauty.dsc_1245-1
