My friend Marilyn and I are now in Bettles, Alaska, in the Arctic Circle. A teeny tiny place they call ‘The Very Last Frontier’ – and it sure is. Bettles has a population of 10 residents – plus a few workers and tourists (who mainly come for a holiday in the winter). But most people come to Bettles to see the world famous Aurora Borealis. We saw it last night but there were clouds galore so in my eyes the show wasn’t much chop. No clouds today so we are hoping for the big one tonight.
Super shot, Tommy, the green kayak , for me, is the icing on the cake.
It’s a lovely kayak, Paula. Green is good.
