I snapped this magnificent signature dessert at the Novotel in Spring Hill, Brisbane a few days ago. Poached Stanthorpe Peaches encased in an ice igloo. Delicious. A STAFF member excitedly explained that a lady who had ordered this dish was so overwhelmed by the presentation she licked it with such gusto her tongue stuck to the ice. He explained staff had to douse her tongue with warmish water to release it. A funny scenario. Worth going the full screen to taste the beauty. Queensland, Australia.
